U.S. Immigration Services temporarily suspends adjudication of temporary worker program

On April 2, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services said it has temporarily suspended adjudication of certain Form I-129 H-2B petitions for temporary non-agricultural workers.

On April 2, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services said it has temporarily suspended adjudication of certain Form I-129 H-2B petitions for temporary non-agricultural workers. The government has to consider appropriate action in response to a federal district court order in Comite de Apoyo a los Trabajadores Agricolas et al v. Solis a case regarding an interpretation of a prevailing wage rule. This could have significant implications for contractors planning to use the H-2B temporary worker program.
