The Tapco Group has acquired Kleer Lumber, Inc., a manufacturer of cellular PVC trimboard, moulding, and decking products, the company announced.
All of Tapco's manufacturing facilities are in the U.S., and Kleer Lumber's Westfield, Mass.-based fabrication center will be the fifth in Tapco Group's nationwide production and distribution network, said Dave Ulmer, president of The Tapco Group.
The Kleer line of products have received the SCS Recycled Content Certification for cellular PVC trimboard and are manufactured using a free foam extrusion process to create a consistent cell structure and density from surface to core. The finished product performs well in architectural millwork applications including routing, moulding, and shaping.
