TetraGrip Fastening System

Designed to eliminate subfloor nail squeaks while providing more holding power, the TetraGrip Subfloor Fastening System from Paslode features a barb-threaded design that allows the fastener to drive like a nail and hold like a screw. The proprietary nail shank design drives as fast as a nail, but rotates as it drives to bond with the wood fibers, minimizing wood destruction when driven, thereby greatly reducing the chance of squeaks and loose subfloors down the road.

Editors’ Comments: Knowing that subfloor nails are the primary culprit of floor squeaks, Paslode’s engineering team set out to eliminate them with this novel fastener.
