D-Blaze® fire retardant treated wood (FRTW) is available for interior applications where fire retardant construction materials are specified or required by building codes. D-Blaze treated lumber and plywood is highly effective in controlling the spread of flame and smoke development caused by fire.

D-Blaze treated products show no evidence of significant progressive combustion at 30 minutes exposure to flame. In most applications, D-Blaze treated products offer a lower in-place cost than noncombustible classified materials.

Applications include: roof and floor trusses; roof decks and sheathing; subflooring; beams and purlins; blocking and furring; interior non-load bearing partitions; studs and joists; and exterior load-bearing walls protected by a weather barrier.
