iLevel’s Shear Brace prefabricated shear panel has received ICC-ES 2009 IBC/IRC code compliance verification for tall walls (up to 20 feet) and two-story applications. Available in a range of heights from 7 to 20 feet and widths of 12, 18 and 24 inches, Shear Brace provides a way to build braced walls in narrow wall segments with multiple window and door openings, including around garage doors. Unlike steel prefabricated shear panels, the product can be trimmed in the field.
