Role of climate change in hurricane and future storms unclear

Experts on insurance, weather, and catastrophe modeling say the role of climate change in Hurricane Sandy and future storms is unclear. Storms such as Sandy do, however, underscore the need for stricter building codes and improved land-use policies in coastal areas, says a policy expert at Property Casualty Insurers Association of America.
