Simpad Webcast - 3D-BIM and 2D Lean-Design
New-Product Review of 3D-BIM and 2D Lean-Design Solutions for Managing Base-Home-Plan and Options Libraries
Duration: 1 hour.
Problems plague big builders: For top 200 builders (50+ starts), managing base-home-plan and option libraries is expensive, unwieldy, and error-prone. Unable to control home-plan inventories, many builders commission new plans, without realizing they already own what they need! And then there's the challenge of generating as-sold document sets that reflect the latest in structural options, to say nothing of solving the plan, building to cost, and generating a definitive Bill of Materials.
What you'll learn: This seminar will review new products and services (using 3D BIM and traditional 2D plan sets) for gaining control of the base-home-plan and option libraries. We'll cover how to implement affordable, complete lifecycle management of base home plans through use of a digital "document repository," with critical path approaches to ensuring that everyone - from sales to estimating & procurement - is always using the latest plans, and that the plans reflect the latest structural-options and material quantities.
Date: October 27th at 1:30pm EST.
Event is broadcast live, and recorded for web viewing.
