San Francisco real estate records will include ‘green labels’

No additional paperwork, filing requirements necessary

Ecologically-sustainable building practices, or “green labels,” will now be included on official land records maintained by San Francisco. That means that along with information on square footage and assessment and complaints about things like bed bugs and rat infestations, the records will also show whether a building has a LEED or Energy Star certification.
