Roofer says misunderstanding of building code led to red flag by inspector

Homeowner files suit; issue to go before county judge

A contractor says a misunderstanding of the building code led to a failure to attach decking clips to a roof on a residential project in Bellevue, Neb. A city inspection earned the project a red tag when it discovered the lack of decking clips and that some nails were exposed.
