The angle of a home’s roof has little to do with the potential for generating energy with photovoltaic panels, says EnergySage, a solar technology web site. “Looking at data from six cities, we estimated the production levels generated at various tilt angles. We … always assumed that the roof faced directly south. Regardless of where you live or what the angle of your roof might be, adopting solar power provides significant financial returns.”
