I am surprised that you listed Neil Kelly and Fred Case, both highly influential figures, but did not include David Sauer, Founder of Qualified Remodeler Magazine and one of the driving members of NARI. David was extremely influential in developing better communication between building products manufacturers and remodelers to increase the quality of product and project in residential remodeling. You might also consider Martha Kerr of Neil Kelly Remodeling, for her current work in promoting professionalism and quality in the remodeling industry.

I would have to nominate the group of Small Business owners who go out every day and work really hard in tight economic conditions just to make ends meet. Our team here at MyOnlineToolbox.com listens to these guys (and ladies too, sorry) daily on how hard it is to get the work, finish the work and get paid to continue to the next job. I believe an acknowledgement for the majority is appropriate. Thanks to them all for keeping America strong with one of the last industries that can not be outsourced.

How could you have left Linda Case off of your list? She has deeply influenced thousands of business owners through her roundtables business - Remodelers Advantage. She and her business partner, Victoria Downing, have more commitment to the welfare of the businesspeople who are the heart of the industry than half the people on the list.

How can you post this list and not have Bob Villa and Norm Abrams. They have done more to get the homeowner interested in remodeling and were the original DIY guys on TV.
