Yes Remodelers, builders and developers CAN receive LEED accreditation, designated by LEED AP. One can take the exam exam and if you pass (70% or better) you can advertise that you are a LEED AP. YES the USGBC and ASID has a green buidling program for remodeling. You can see it at www.regreenprogram.org better yet become a member of the USGBC (many local chapters throught US) and have a say in those guidelines. Also check out the NKBA Green Fusion Master Class & NAHB Green Bldr Certification Classes.

Remodelers cannot receive LEED certification. Nor can builders or developers. Only structures can be LEED certified. LEED does not currently have a renovation certification program in place. Your best bet is to check with your local HBA or NARI chapter to see if they have a GreenBuilding program that you can certify your projects under. You could also check and see if EarthCraft certification is offered in your area.
Good luck.

Can a residential remodeler receive a LEED certification and advertise that to the public?
