Green Gains?

The American Society of Interior Designers and U.S. Green Building Council will release the country's first sustainable residential remodeling guidelines at the ASID annual conference, INTERIORS 08, Friday, March 14 in New Orleans. Not that anyone asked for my opinion, but won't this just muddy the waters even more by adding a different set of green guidelines to what is an already crowded playing field? Besides NAHB's Model Green Home Building Guidelines and the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED program there are already dozens of statewide programs that remodelers follow across the country.
