The problem with "green"

And here is why consumers don't trust the word "green." For too many companies, green isn't about making any sort of environmental difference, it's about looking good. People are starting to catch on.
As one remodeler said to me recently, "When BP Amoco advertises themselves as 'green,' I know that's a word I want nothing to do with."
