Jonathan Sweet - Remodeling Notes

Jay Sweet
As senior editor of Professional Remodeler, a lot of information crosses my desk. This blog will be a chance to share some of that with you, with an immediacy not possible with a monthly magazine. It's also your chance to tell me what you think about what I have to say. Whether you agree or disagree, I hope you won't be shy.

The editors of the ubiquitous "... for Dummies" series are nothing if not smart. After great success with "Flipping Houses for Dummies," the company is apparently reaping the rewards of two recent additions to the inventory ... "Foreclosure Investing for Dummies" and "Foreclosure Self-Defense for Dummies." (They also just came out with "Home Staging for Dummies" for those having trouble selling their homes.)

According to a recent article in the New York Times, this is just one example of publishers jumping from the buying bandwagon to the foreclosure one.
