More on the candidates and green

It may not be what they say as much as who they appoint to the courts that will matter, argues an environmental lawyer in this column.
If you buy that argument, then the type of judges that John McCain has promised to appoint in order to appease the conservative base will probably not be too likely to look favorably on environmental issues, based on the views of similar justices like Clarence Thomas and Antonin Scalia.
