We're just wrapping up our issue featuring the Best of the Best Design Awards and I think the projects this year will blow you away. We had a record number of entries and the competition was more fierce than ever. I've been running remodeling and construction design competitions since 2000, and have judged a few in that time as well, and this may very well be the best batch of entrants I've ever seen.

If you've never entered one of the national design competitions, think about giving it a shot. It's a great way to market your company. I know firms whose whole marketing plan is based on showcasing the awards they've won in the previous year. With competition for jobs getting tougher everyday, every advantage counts.
