Whiny homeowner suing real estate agent

Well, in case you missed it, a homeowner in Carlsbad, Calif., is suing her real estate agent because the house she bought is worth less than, she claims, he led her to believe. (You can read the full story here.)
If her lawsuit is successful, some are predicting a wave of suits against agents as homebuyers look for someone to blame for the declining value of their home.
I realize this doesn't have a lot to do with remodeling, but it was so wacky I just had to say something about it. How about a little personal responsibility? She made a bad financial move and now she wants someone to blame. This is like the wave of lawsuits after the dot-com crash. ("Nobody told me the stock market went down!")
Where does it end? My kitchen remodel didn't increase my home value by $50,000 ... better sue someone!
It's good to know that even with a recession looming, some people -- namely lawyers -- will be quite comfortable.
