Why they're Innovators, Part Two

Today's Innovator is Mike High, vice president of Casa Linda Remodeling in San Antonio. We chose Casa Linda for our list because the company is facing a challenge that a lot of you are: competing with the low-bid competition.
High and company president Bob Earl use a variety of selling tactics to separate themselves from the "pickup truck guys." An interesting one that I didn't include in the article is the company's six-month inspection. Six months after a project is completed, Casa Linda comes back to check it over and make sure the clients are still happy. If anything needs to be fixed, the staff takes care of it right away. It shows clients the company cares about their satisfaction. Even more importantly, High says, it's an opportunity to stay in front of the clients in case they are thinking of having more work done.
As the market continues to change, and perhaps slowdown, over the next year, dealing with low-bid competition is going to be increasingly important in any market. It's already a problem Casa Linda has mastered, and that's why we chose them as a 2008 Innovator.

Hi, I also face the same problem and find that a follow-up letter and a call also work. Thanks David Ali President
