You can't hide on the Web Part 2 (Feazel Roofing responds)

Feazel Roofing, the Ohio company I wrote about last week for the attention it was getting online, has responded to the consumer's complaints about its over-the-top marketing techniques.
Company president Mike Feazel apologized for "allowing this type of 'scare tactic marketing' to be sent from my company." You can read the full response at the link above.
It doesn't correct the original mistake with the marketing piece, or certainly the clumsy attempt at guerilla marketing by posting a response on the writer's original blog, but kudos to Feazel for addressing the issue directly. As you'll see, it was good enough to get the writer to remove the original posts that made the company look bad, so it shows what a simple apology can do.
This is the type of thing that can significantly hurt or help a company depending on how they handle it. Type "Feazel Roofing" into Google and you'll see several references to this. At least this response should mitigate some of the damage.
