HousingZone
ServiceLive.com, the new online marketplace for home improvements and repairs, is teaming up with Rebuilding Together, the nation’s leading non-profit working to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize neighborhoods, to help independent contractors across the country get more business and to raise money for Rebuilding Together. ServiceLive, which matches service providers with homeowners and businesses who need work done, is currently recruiting skilled trades people across a variety of categories, including handymen, HVAC, electrical, home electronics, plumbing, roofing and more.
For every service provider who completes the registration and approval process, ServiceLive.com will donate $25 to Rebuilding Together. In addition, ServiceLive will be encouraging the thousands of service providers already in the marketplace to volunteer for Rebuilding Together, especially its Gulf Coast Work Weeks, during which teams of volunteers continue repairing the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina.
Service providers can register today at www.servicelive.com, and specify that they heard about ServiceLive from Rebuilding Together.
