Hard-to-Find Universal Design
June 1, 1999
Professional Remodeler
For remodelers using universal design, the Beyond Barriers catalog from Access One offers hundreds of difficult-to-find items. Products include complete kitchen units, roll-in showers, unique tubs, adjustable-height sinks, handrails and more.
The catalog was created to help contractors locate quality products at competitive prices, says Blair Ferguson, co-founder and president. "It’s got all the products needed for a universally designed remodeling job," he says. "If it’s not in there, we’ll try to find it. [Universal design] is a great niche for remodelers to get into right now. There’s a market for it, but not a lot of remodelers are doing it right now."
Catalog features 127 pages of products in seven different categories. It is available for $5 plus $1 shipping; call (800) 561-2223.
