IRS Offers Small-Business Tax Help
October 1, 2000
Professional Remodeler
For quick answers to tax questions, the IRS offers online advice targeted to smaller businesses. Located at www.irs.ustreas.gov/bus_info/sm_bus/index.html, the Small Business Corner includes recent news, employment tax calculations and forms, pre-ownership advice and tax assistance. All services available on the site are free, and sections exist to help taxpayers figure out which taxes apply to their businesses, when to pay them and how to file electronically. For remodelers without regular Internet access, a free CD-ROM of the Small Business Resource Guide is also available. Call 800/829-3676 and request IRS Publication 3207.
