Professional Remodeler
Q. How do you stay on top of filing quarterly taxes for your remodeling business?
A. We have an excellent accounting firm, and because of our off-month calendar, our accountant has more quality time to spend with us. We also have the advantage that many of our taxes [both federal and state] can be paid through the bank via withholding taxes.
Q. What tax tips do you have for other remodelers?
A. Pay them on time!
Q. Do you have any specific ways to save on tax payments?
A. We hold on to the money as long as we can to incur interest.
