1. Don’t use your inbox as a catchall folder. Read each incoming message once take action - either delete it or move it to a project-specific subfolder.
2. Use "reply-to-all" and "CC" buttons sparingly.
3. Ask to be removed from distribution lists.
4. Use the "Out-of-Office" function on your e-mail when you are in the field or unavailable.
