  •  Benjamin Moore's Personal Color Viewer Professional is a software program that allows clients and contractors to visualize what an exterior or interior would look like in a certain color. Users can upload digital images of the actual homes they are working on, and the program can "paint" and re-paint in any choice from among the company's entire 3,200-plus color palette. The software may be downloaded from www.benjaminmoore.com or ordered on CD-ROM.

  •  In its design library at www.ecmddesignlibrary.com/chindex.cfml, stair manufacturer Crown Heritage has more than 500 stair parts in CAD-ready drawings that can be downloaded in .DXF files and used in creating plans.

  •  Polymer processing company Rehau, a manufacturer of radiant heat flooring, PEX plumbing systems and vinyl windows, offers an online Resource Center (www.REHAU-NA.com) for its window and door products. In addition to obtaining CSI specifications, users can download CAD drawings in 18 popular formats.
