Vanguard's MANABLOC® water management system is a sort of electrical breaker box -- for plumbing. Designed with both the homeowner and the plumbing contractor in mind, the system installs quickly and can save thousands of gallons of hot water per year.

The MANABLOC central manifold distributes hot and cold water to fixtures via separate, dedicated lines. It provides the homeowner better control of the plumbing system and makes the system easier to service. Hot water comes faster; less water is needed to flush the line of cold water before the hot water is delivered. Balanced water delivery causes less dramatic temperature or pressure changes. Operation is quiet: Water hammer and water flow noise are minimized. The corrosion- and chemical-resistant PEX piping flexes as a new home settles, so it won't develop leaks over time. If servicing is needed, the homeowner can turn off the valve for the exact trouble spot; the rest of the system runs smoothly while the repair takes place.
