WELCOME TO SHOW VILLAGE 2005

The Reed Building Group, publishers of Professional Builder, Professional Remodeler, Custom Builder and GIANTS magazines, once again delivers to International Builders' Show attendees its Show Village experience. The contents of this publication serve as both an information resource as well as a take-away for the products you should consider using in the construction of the homes your company builds.

Show Village is a unique experience. Located adjacent to the International Builders' Show, attendees explore showcase homes where they learn about products in action. There is no other comparable venue where attendees can interact with manufacturers' products, allowing them to envision how the products will appear and function in their actual installed environment. Plus, each night there is a rollicking block party featuring live entertainment.

This year, Show Village features Palm Harbor's Florida home and Nationwide Custom Homes' PATH Tutorial Townhouses.

Palm Harbor's Florida home is built by this 2001 Gold Award winner of the prestigious National Housing Quality Award. It is a terrific ranch house, one which demonstrates quality construction, a sense of professionalism and clearly exemplifies the unique issues facing builders and remodelers in the Southeast. After the show, the home will be donated to Orlando's Home Builders Association's Foundation.

Nationwide Custom Homes' PATH Tutorial Townhouses showcase innovation in building technology, sustainable materials and system building. This showcase is cosponsored by PATH (Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing). As you tour these town homes you will experience effective approaches to increased energy efficiency, improved durability, heightened quality standards, minimized environmental impact and reduced natural disaster damage.

To ensure this year's Show Village is the best yet, the Reed Building Group contracted with Jack Morton Worldwide, one of the world's top "experiential" marketing agencies. Annually, Jack Morton creates more than 1,000 experiences for a broad base of Fortune 100 clients across every industry sector, integrating live events, branded environments and interactive media. Recent programs include: internal branding programs for Avon; B-to-B marketing experiences for General Motors; consumer marketing experiences for Microsoft; and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
