Exterior color selections have begun, and sample colors have been applied in some locations.

Many of the interior windows are tall and have decorative trim/paneling. Two bays stack at the first and second floors.

The majority of the balusters around the staircases have been broken or damaged. Custom replacements were made to replicate the existing ones and will be installed with the originals.

There are five sets of pocket doors, three of which will be saved and restored.

The cottage sits on a stone foundation and had been flooded in the past. The cottage will be lifted, and several courses of bond beam block will be added to raise the cottage above the water-level reach of a 100-year flood.
