Builders of the year! BUILDERS OF THE YEAR!!!!!!!! How in the Hell did you all become builders of the year? I've not heard one good response from any legacy home owner!! My entire community is sinking, breaking, falling, Cracking, erroding, and no one (Meaning legacy)seems to care!!! This is my wife and I first house. It was supposed to be our dream home, but that dream quickly tured into a nightmare. Eletrical problem out of the wazoo, my eating area tilts, my fireplace takes in more air than lungs, and my back yard has almost completely washed away. After spending a tax refund check on a privacy fence, we've had to endure watching it over a two year period of time, wash away, falling into a ditch that the builders knew was going to errode and wash away in time! Our back yard has cracked in half! My son was out side playing the other day and fell into a whole a foot deep. *Builders of the year*?? We've even called, and emailed the warranty department that exclaimed to us that our warranty expired in 2003, when the house wasn't even built until 2004!!!! A two story 2,500 sq ft home with a(1)story,small A/C unit, no back gutters, and open/live electrical wires under the kitchen cabinet. THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE OUR DREAM HOUSE!!!!!! *BUILDERS OF THE YEAR*??? Come fix my home. Back up your promise with a retainer wall saving my yard, gutters, pure customer service. You allegedly laid the foundation before building the house, now stand on the foundation your company/customers rely on.

Congrats to Legacy for making all that money...But what about the homeowners who they leave in the hole with shoddy workmanship, and incomplete landscaping, houses falling apart, and total lack of customer service?
Just remember, let he who think he stands, take heed lest he fall!! whatch out legacy!! the seeds you sow will grow harvest. what were your seeds?

HOME OWNERS OF LEGACY PROPERTIES SHOULD HAVE BEEN CONTACTED.
I WOULD NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO PURCHASE A LEGACY HOME

Disposoble Housing is what the Beans build, they treat their subcontractors like slaves.
You must base your builder of the year award on proffit only.

That's great and all, but it would have been nice to see some information on how the builder is reducing the environmental footprint of their homes; how they are increasing the efficiency of their homes; how the homes are located to reduce car dependence and an unhealthy inability to walk anywhere: basic good design, in other words. Instead, its big box, big box, big box. What are the operational costs and are lower income citizens going to be able to afford those increasing costs despite a fixed mortgage cost? What are Legacy's plans to build green? What is the expected lifetime of their homes?
