The fact that Pringle Development was "given" this award cheapens the National Housing Quality Award Standards. The article speaks of how they have gained market share but fails to mention that they have release almost 50% of their workforce and face numerous allegations of inappropriate employee discharge. while they built a number of homes due to the 2 year defferal program that they have new sales were a net negative at the begining of the calendar year and most likely barely reached into the 20's by end of the fiscal year. In my opinion the company is showing classic signs of a company that is on its way to failure. Only a buyout can save the stockholders now.
How can the judges tout "Leadership" and "Human Resources" as the first 2 strong points? Pringle did an excellent job at "spinning" the results and putting blinders on the judges. Were they influenced by the limosine and fine dining?
A shame.
