Bravo! A must read for home builders. But wait, the shareholders won't earn the same dividends and CEOs won't earn the big bonus money. Short-sighted decisions like mandating cost reductions will take much longer to rebound from when housing takes off again. It's too bad revenue is down, but let's not forget - this is temporary.
