Building A Drier Overhang
Air pressure balance in all attics is and has been a design and debate issue for decades.
If and when the pressure is equal, on the inside and out side the building / attic or any space there will not be migration of any weather rain /snow /sand. Air pressure balance is best obtained when there is equal venting / openings on all side of a structure and the venting / openings, sized and distribution are equally spaced and sized. The designed conception will work with equal opening at all point.
We will never stop the destruction of a direct hit of a tornado or hurricane but the peripheral damages due to high winds and wind sheer that are associated with these weather conditions will be reduced.
