1. Manufacturers can assist builders to obtain code approval and certification from third party verifiers.
2. Provide direction on which products work best in specific climates
3. Be clear on product warranties and any maintenance aspects of your product warranty
4. Become knowledgeable about the NAHB and USGBC green building standards, not only as they pertain to your products but gain overall knowledge of the standards so that you can effectively assist the builder in meeting them.
5. Train trade contractors to avoid defective installation.
6. Train builder sales personnel to accurately reflect the “green” performance of your products.
