ProSpec / Bonsal American Introduce Expansion Stabilization Technology for New Line
Expansion Stabilization Technology (EST) on underlayments and wear toppings provide added protection against shrinkage and cracking
June 1, 2009

Self-leveling products have a large surface-to-volume ratio, so they are prone to shrinkage, which causes cracking, curling and delamination. ProSpec / Bonsal American’s EST is an additive designed to reduce the potential for cracking and shrinkage through controlling the pre-cure chemical and physical reactions during underlayments’ plastic stage, where up to 80 percent of shrinkage occurs. EST works in conjunction with ProSpec’s Rapid Cure Technology (RCT), that was introduced earlier this year. advertisement
