Scapa's A1179G-PE is a pressure-sensitive, acrylic double-sided foam tape for construction assembly applications. Composed of high-density acrylic foam and double-coated with an acrylic adhesive, this tape can be used for joining panels, fixtures and architectural signs and frames. It can also be used for sealing skylights and muntin bars as well as serving as a filler and barrier for substrates. This tape adheres to a variety of substrates and is resistant to solvents and moisture. It also has aging, weathering and anti-vibration properties and can be used as a replacement for mechanical fasteners, rivets, screws and welds.
