Woodcraft University

In October of this year, Woodcraft Supply Corp., a woodworking supply, materials and tools retailer, launched Woodcraft University at its retail stores nationwide. By the end of the year, 1,000 students will have completed courses, which are certified for continuing education credits through West Virginia University at Parkersburg.

Woodcraft University, which offers 100-level (beginner) to 400-level classes suited to professionals, includes the "colleges" of band saw, carving, finishing, joinery, router, scroll saw, sharpening, table saw and turning. By the end of 2004, it expects to offer 145 courses.
