The home builder and car manufacturer aim for a net-zero energy neighborhood in California.
Nissan and City Ventures, a solar home builder, have teamed up to create the first neighborhood in the United States that is pre-wired for electric cars, according to a press release.
City Ventures’ Signal Hill Collection in Signal Hill, Calif., is a neighborhood of 190 homes that feature solar power and energy-efficient design. The homes have garages pre-wired for electric vehicle charges, bringing energy bills to net zero.
