The I'On Co.

This project is a mixed-use, pedestrian-oriented neighborhood located on a 243-acre infill site. Partnering with 17 local custom builders, the developer formed a builders guild to foster and promote superior craftsmanship and service. Urban design codes and detailed vernacular building codes help foster a healthy, vibrant streetscape. The developer's vision was to create a new neighborhood that maintains the local community character, preserves green space and sensitive areas, requires quality construction practices, promotes a sense of community, and efficiently serves its residents and neighbors. The master plan calls for a central commercial area and thoughtful placement and integration of sidewalks, marsh and lakefront paths accessible to all. The design of the community features linear parks throughout and children's playgrounds tucked behind many of the home sites.
