Fairview Village is a new development that complements the existing community of Fairview by providing an urban center that was lacking. Designed around a commercial hub of civic and institutional buildings, and public parks, Fairview Village features a variety of housing types, providing residential opportunities to a wide range of buyer profiles. These include single-family homes, row houses, town homes, live/work row houses, duplexes, condominiums, apartments, and carriage house apartments ranging in price from $75,000 to $400,000 (with rents between $500 and $1800 per month). Fairview Village, which will eventually include 550 residential units, serves as a positive example of how to integrate affordable and rental housing into communities with higher-end housing, while maintaining a high standard of style and quality. The land plan includes numerous urban and rustic parks and hiking trails. The restoration of two creeks that flow through the community provides a flourishing habitat for native wildlife.
