TimberStrand® LSL 1.7E - New Wave of Marriage Ridge Beams

TimberStrand® laminated strand lumber (LSL) is a technological breakthrough that allows Trus Joist to engineer high-performance structural composite beams that are stronger, straighter and truer than sawn lumber. TimberStrand® LSL can span much longer distances and support heavier loads than sawn lumber or built-up beams.

 

TimberStrand® LSL is a single-piece member that replaces the built-up marriage ridge beams of the past. TimberStrand® LSL allows the manufacturer to save time and money by utilizing a single-piece, ready-to-install beam rather than a time-consuming, costly built-up beam.
