From our four gypsum wallboard plants in the United States, American Gypsum produces a broad line of gypsum board products for all segments of the housing and construction industry. American Gypsum operates modern, efficient, state-of-the-art production facilities in Colorado, New Mexico and Oklahoma.

American Gypsum has a commitment to quality materials. We maintain an independent inspection laboratory in each of our facilities. This testing procedure continuously pulls product from the manufacturing line to be compared against a stringent set of company standards that exceed the ASTM and Gypsum Association guidelines. The gypsum board is made from deposits that are close to our four plants and regarded among the purest deposits in North America. American Gypsum has its own paper company, which provides a consistent quality product made from 100% recycled paper for both front and back paper.

American Gypsum is now the fourth-largest gypsum wallboard producer in North America. More than 40 years ago, American started with one facility, and now it has a management team with more than 100 years of experience in all phases of the gypsum wallboard industry. American Gypsum has created a modern customer service department. When we combine this with a strategic network of distribution centers across the United States, we can ship and deliver on a national basis exceeding expectations.
