Andersen Windows has made available the first of a series of Home Style Pattern Books, giving homeowners, designers, builders, remodelers, and architects an easy-to-use resource to effectively communicate historically accurate design elements.
The books are part of the Andersen Home Style Library introduced earlier in 2012 with the launch of the company’s Andersen Architectural Collection, an approach focusing first on the style of the home and then letting that style lead the choice of windows, doors, and accompanying accessory combinations.
Andersen Home Style Pattern Books can be viewed online or downloaded free in PDF format for both the Craftsman Bungalow and Georgian Federal styles for a limited time. Spiral-bound, 26-page print versions are available free of charge for a limited time from
www.andersenwindows.com via the “Request A Brochure” link.
Each pattern book is dedicated to a single style and contains illustrations and descriptions of the architectural elements that make up each style, including proportions; groupings; positioning; accent windows; color palettes; combinations and grille patterns; interior and exterior trim details; and entry door, hardware, and art glass options.
