Misa joins NyloBoard
In her new role, Misa coordinates and manages multiple aspects of NyloBoard’s communications initiatives for brands including NyloDeck and NyloSheet.
Valerie Misa has joined the marketing department of building materials manufacturer NyloBoard, LLC, whose patented process uses recycled carpet fiber and VOC-free resins to create exceptionally strong, durable and eco-friendly products. In her new role, Misa coordinates and manages multiple aspects of NyloBoard’s communications initiatives for brands including NyloDeck and NyloSheet.
Prior to joining NyloBoard, Misa was marketing and development manager for Suncoast Humane Society and was communications manager for Gulf Coast Community Foundation in Venice, Fla. Misa began her career with leading boat manufacturer Chris-Craft Corporation and was later rehired to oversee major international trade shows, develop collateral, site content, social media, and help grow the company’s dealer network. Her experience also includes marketing communications at real estate broker Michael Saunders and Company.
Born and raised in Saint James, N.Y., Misa graduated from State University of New York, College at Fredonia in 2002 with a B.S. in Communications and a minor in Spanish. Active in community volunteerism, Misa was twice named Woman of the Month by the American Business Women’s Association while living in Sarasota, Fla. Misa relocated to Georgia in November 2012. PR
