The machine boasts 115 inch-pounds of torque and a no-load speed of 6,600 rpm. A 9-in. wheel guard protects the blade, and auto-stop carbon brushes also increase durability. Operator safety features include an on/off switch with safety lock and a burst-proof guard and spindle lock.
