LEED-certified single-family homes now exceed 10,000

Commercial buildings have traditionally led the green building charge, but residential properties are also growing fast. In a new report, USGBC finds 93,120 bedrooms in 10,174 LEED-certified single-family homes. Previous market research has predicted residential green building projects could be worth up to $114 billion industry-wide by 2016.
