The CoreGuard Sink Base from Merillat completely rethinks the construction methodology of traditional sink base cabinets by specifically addressing issues such as minor spills and plumbing leaks. With the exception of the cabinet’s face, frame, and door assembly, all the wood and wood-based materials typically used in cabinet construction have been replaced with an engineered polymer material. In addition, the floor has a slight forward tilt so minor spills and leaks migrate to the front of the cabinet, making it easier and quicker to detect problems.
