CertainTeed is launching CertaWrap Weather Resistant Barrier. Applied prior to exterior cladding and as a key component of the wall system, CertaWrap acts as the primary line of defense against the elements during construction and a secondary water barrier after the cladding is installed. When properly installed, CertaWrap will reduce drafts in the wall, which helps reduce energy costs. CertaWrap also provides superior water holdout, moisture vapor transmission, tear strength and surfactant resistance.
