The Residence at SouthPark seamlessly unites four stories of luxury residential units with 80,000 square feet of ground-level retail, while integrating several important, existing site features. Developers worked with the city of Charlotte to carefully place the project on the site, renovating an historic civic space and fountain on a prominent corner. Mature trees were also preserved. The building reinforces a sense of community by surrounding a U-shaped courtyard, and is proportioned so as not to overpower activity on the street level.
