Top 5 fastest growing cities
GDP is going up, and some cities are booming
U.S. GDP grew 2.5 percent in 2010 after falling 2.5 percent in 2009, and some cities grew much faster than others, according to Business Insider.
A new report by the Bureau of Economic Analysis shows how 366 metropolitan areas each fared in 2010.
The top five fastest growing metropolitan areas:
- Elizabethtown, Kentucky
- San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara, California
- Elkhart-Goshen, Indiana
- Columbus, Indiana
- Midland, Texas
